By the end of the webinar the participants should: be aware of how cleft care in the UK is currently structured and be aware of the NHS Standard contract for Cleft Lip and/ palate services, understand the aetiology, presentation and classification of cleft, be aware of the cleft patient pathway, understand the roles of each member of the cleft MDT including: speech and language therapists, psychologists, surgeons and clinical nurse specialists and be aware of the clinical challenges often faced when providing restorative treatment for adult patients and strategies to manage them.
